Final Playlist

It’s no secret that the final weeks of the first semester here at Bucknell are bursting with exams, final papers, group projects (no thank you), and trying to figure out what to get your parents for Christmas. We here at Campus Vinyl do not accept any of the aforementioned as legitimate excuses for not having a fresh new playlist.  So, we get it, you’re busy.  But have no fear because we did the work for you.  Here is your December playlist of the hottest up and coming tracks and new releases from some familiar faces and some absolute strangers that we really think you’re going to like.  Enjoy!

My picks:

Hilary Duff- “All About You”

You didn’t think I’d let you get through 2014 without hearing this recent release from Hilary Duff did you?  That’s right, Lizzie McGuire is back and better than ever with this track.

Ryn Weaver- “OctaHate”

I’ve got to give a shout out to Melissa G. and Kelsey N. for introducing me to this song by Ryn Weaver.  With its pop beat and innovative style, “OctaHate” is on the fast track to top 20 status.

Bleachers- “Wild Heart”

This is one track that I have been playing on my radio show all season.  I really cannot get enough of this track or Bleachers as a group.  Their overall dynamic as a group is something that I can’t quite put my finger on, but I am very into it.

Josef Salvat- “Hustler”

Hustler is my absolute favorite track on this playlist.  I love how serene it is throughout, with the soft piano, echoey drums, and heartfelt lyrics.  It incites a kind of emotion in me that only comes about in response to really incredible songs.

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed the playlist and my picks from it.  Have a great end to your semester and get home safe!
