John Mayer Returns to the Touring Circuit

Drumroll, please…J. May is back! Recently, John Mayer announced his first tour in over three years…three years, people! After a hiatus due to throat issues, Mayer will kick off his tour this April for his fifth studio album “Born and Raised.” Mayer will begin touring on April 12 at the Crossroads Guitar Festival in New York, NY and will travel both nationally and internationally until the middle of October. A list of full tour dates can be found here:

On almost all of the tour dates, recent “American Idol” winner Phillip Phillips will open for Mayer. Phillips, who won “American Idol” in 2012, is most famous for his single “Home.”

The tour will mark Mayer’s first set of full-length concerts since a throat granuloma forced him to cancel original "Born and Raised" tour plans.

So before they sell out, get your tickets to see Mayer perform songs new and old. I know I’ll get mine. To me, Mayer is a “wonderland”: a talented guitarist, great vocalist, insightful lyricist…and his body isn’t too bad to look at, either!

Don’t Stop the Beat,

Jen Lassen
