This Thursday at 8pm, our second session of Live from Campus Vinyl will be hosted by the cider bar, Bushel & Barrel. It will feature acts such as Apparitions of Myself's Justin Eyster, Ian Colley & Molly Brown, and Tricia & Tyler as well as an array of drink specials for 21+. Apparitions of Myself also known as Justin Eyster is a vocal and instrumental multi-musician from Selinsgrove PA. His experience ranges from vocal performance at venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York City, to full-fledged rock concerts at major venues. Apparitions Of Myself is his personal alternative rock project. In the five years, he's released two albums, performed for radio airtime and newspaper coverage, performing in front of over a thousand fans, acquiring endorsements and management deals, and playing concerts with many nationally renowned performing artists. He's shared the stage with the classical composer John Rutter and Solid State Records' dynamic metal band My Heart To Fear.

Ian Colley comes from Rochester, NY where he learned to play the violin through the Hochstein school of music and played with the Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.  He graduated in 2013 from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA where he double majored in Psychology and Music. His senior theses were on neuroanatomical underpinnings of autism, and Beethoven’s 9th symphony.  He is currently in the Bucknell Masters degree program, studying music cognition in the Psychology department. In addition to playing the violin, Ian is a self-taught pianist (a mediocre novice, at best).

The Bushel & Barrel Cider Bar is located at 606 Market Street in Lewisburg that opened in April 2014. It's run by the Civil War Cider Company that uses only Pennsylvania fruit to make a variety of alcoholic ciders. Their ciders can be freshly fermented and mixed with other fresh fruits to give a bright full taste. However, the history behind their cider is one of aging, clarification, attention, and patience. They strive to make only the highest quality ciders using the highest quality ingredients.

Live from Campus Vinyl is a new Thursday night series that Campus Vinyl BucknellU is hosting as an opportunity for student musicians to perform off campus. As the series continues to gain some traction, Campus Vinyl will be recording the sessions and releasing them on our new Youtube page. The first session was located at a student house on St. Catherine Street and featured acoustic artists Lara Murray, Eric Gowat, and the Thought Police, attracting students of all ages to the event.

Make sure to join the event on Facebook and stay tuned for more Live from Campus Vinyl sessions!
