Taking Back Sunday and The Used Tour
I don’t know if I’ve ever said this, but I think the most attractive feature in a girl is her love for my all-time favorite band, Taking Back Sunday. Their album, Tell All Your Friends, basically got me through my middle school angst years. Well, that album and, let’s say my fifth favorite band of all-time, The Used. So one might assume I was pretty excited when TBS announced their tour with The Used for this upcoming spring.
Now I might be reaching a small crowd here at Bucknell with this one, but I know you TBS fans are out there somewhere. TBS announced the tour originally from their Facebook page, upon which all of the tour dates were released. The tour takes them from the UK to Germany to Cali to New York – basically everywhere (the American tour begins in Texas).
Tickets have been on sale for a little over a week, and some shows are already starting to sell out. On the 19th of April they’ll be in Bethlehem, PA, and I am doing everything I possibly can to make it to the show. I have yet to see The Used live, but I managed to catch TBS at Warped Tour in 2013, and it was such a killer show.
As if the tour itself wasn’t enough, both TBS and The Used are touring in conjunction with the releases of both of their new albums! TBS’s Happiness Is is set to release on March 18th, and The Used’s Imaginary Enemy is set to release on April 1st. So, expect to hear a lot of fresh music dropped at these concerts.
Just to get you more excited, here are two brand new hits pre-released off of the new TBS and The Used albums. ”Flicker Fade” is absolutely incredible, just sayin’.
Go here to buy tickets, and make sure you snag ‘em soon before they sell out!
