On Tuesday November 11th,  Professor Malcolm Bilson of Cornell University will present “What Happens to Mozart Piano Concertos When Played on Other Instruments?” at 12 PM in Rooke Recital Hall. This lecture is part of the Mozart Project and is free and open to everyone.

Russian State Symphony Orchestra will be performing on Saturday, November 15th at 7:30 PM in the Weis Center.  The performance will feature pianist Vladimir Feltsman.  Conducted by Maestro Valery Polyansky, the orchestra has received international acclaim.  Tchaikovsky's Slavonic March, Op. 3; Rachmaninoff'sPiano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 18; and Prokofieff's Symphony No. 5 in B-flat Major, Op. 100 will be featured in the evening’s program.  Tickets are $10 for Bucknell students.  Click here for more information!

Bucknell Opera Company will present two performances of Stephen Sondheim’s “Company” this week on Friday, November 14th at  7:30 PM and Sunday, November 16th at 2 PM.  Both performances are free and open to the public and will be held in Rooke Recital Hall.

The Department of Music is hosting Voice Day on Saturday, November 15th from 8 AM to 4PM.   Voice Day will feature various workshops and masterclasses and is focused on technique and strategies for professional vocal performance.  Lisa Forkish, Emily Martin-Moberley, and Deric Rosenblatt are among those scheduled to present.  Voice Day attendance requires prior registration.
