So instead of bumming out after Homecoming weekend has come and gone, attend one of these three FREE events this week!

On Sunday, head over to the Rooke Recital hall at 4PM to see Paavali Jumppanen, a Finnish pianist, perform his concert, “Three Centuries of Piano.” The program will consist of four works by Chopin including the “Funeral March” Sonata, the F Minor Ballade, the Boulez Sonata No. 3, and the “Impromptu Transcendental” by Finnish composer Lauri Kilpio.

Tuesday afternoon, the Weis Center will be hosting Yoga and Atmospheric Music for free from noon to 1PM. Yoga will be instructed by Johanna Kodlick, the founder of Lizard Toes Yoga. Rob Schwimmer will accompany on the piano and Llamano will accompany on the theremin.

On Wednesday night, join the New York Theremin Society at the Campus Theatre for a halloween-inspired concert. This performance will feature five thereminists: Rob Schwimmer, Dorit Chrysler, Scott Robinson, Llamano, and Cornelius Loy. They will perform original and traditional pieces inspired by horror films, in the spirit of Halloween. The performance will also include video clips, projections and specific lighting to keep theme.
